We opened the doors to SGEC in November of 2023. The endoscopy center is an outpatient, ambulatory surgical center where Dr. Bakul Patel and Dr. Suresh Jayatilaka perform a range of colonoscopies and endoscopies. SGEC received certification by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) on March 14, 2024. This accreditation is deemed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to certify our organization meets high patient safety standards and demonstrates a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare.
